Welcome Baby Logan – A Cozy Newborn Session at Home

There’s something incredibly special about photographing a family in the comfort of their own home — and Nat and Tashi’s newborn session with baby Logan was nothing short of magical.

Having photographed their wedding a few years ago, it was such a joy to reconnect and witness this beautiful new chapter in their story. From the moment I stepped into their cozy, light-filled space, I could feel the love and calm that surrounded this new little trio. Baby Logan was the perfect picture of peace and new beginnings.

Nat and Tashi were clearly smitten with their new son. The way they looked at Logan, shared quiet smiles, and moved tenderly through the morning routine made every frame feel effortless and full of heart.

We started the session in the nursery, a beautifully styled space filled with soft neutrals, earthy textures, and personal touches that spoke volumes about the love that had gone into preparing for Logan’s arrival. From there, we moved to the living room for a few relaxed family portraits, letting the natural light spill in as they snuggled together on the couch and ended our time with baby Logan falling asleep in Nat’s arms.

These quiet, early days of newborn life pass by so quickly. That’s why sessions like this are so meaningful. Nat and Tashi wanted to capture Logan just as he is now, tiny, and perfect. And that’s exactly what we did.
